Quick & Easy Web Design (No Coding)

This class is for non-techie types who want to make a simple website WITHOUT learning HTML or CSS. You will learn how websites are made, how to find hosting, how to purchase a domain name, and then how to build your site quickly and easily using pre-formatted screens and templates. This class is appropriate for those wanting to set up a smaller website (such as a family website) AND those wanting to set up a small business website with a store to sell items. You will get tons of resources and tips so you can build a website easily and at little or no cost to you.

Requirements: Basic computer knowledge needed.

Intro to (X)HTML

This is a class for those looking to customize a basic website and take it to the next level. You will be able to go beyond the fill in the blank websites that consume the internet today. You will learn how to create a web page from scratch using Notepad (already on your computer, no expensive programs to buy) as well as modify templates that you can download for free. Be sure to check out the Intro to CSS as well.

Requirements: A basic understanding of the World Wide Web is required. The Quick & Easy Web Design class is highly recommended if you have not had any previous experience with web design.

Intro to (CSS) Cascading Style Sheets

CSS is the computer language used with (X)HTML to customize the style of your web pages. You will learn how to change the colors, fonts, borders and more. No software needed. Get all the tips the pros use and sources to make web design easier.

Requirements: Need basic HTML knowledge. Intro to (X)HTML is highly recommended.
